These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the provision of carpet, upholstery, area rug and furnace cleaning services by Final Touch Carpet and Upholstery Care Inc. (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) to the client (“Client,” “you,” or “your”).

By booking or receiving services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Services Provided

We provide professional carpet, upholstery, rug, stain removal, deodorizing, furnace cleaning and related cleaning services as agreed upon at the time of booking.

Service details, pricing, and scope will be confirmed before work begins.

2. Quotes and Pricing

  • Quotes are estimates based on the information provided.

  • Final pricing may change if actual conditions differ (e.g., heavy staining, excessive soil, additional rooms, pet damage).

  • All prices are listed in Canadian dollars unless stated otherwise.

3. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • We accept cash, debit, credit card, e-transfer.

  • Late payments may be subject to interest charges in accordance with Alberta law.

  • The Client is responsible for any collection or recovery costs if payment is not made.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • We require at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule.

  • No-shows may be charged up to the full service amount.

5. Access and Preparation

The Client agrees to:

  • Provide safe and reasonable access to the property.

  • Remove fragile, valuable, or breakable items from service areas.

  • Secure pets prior to service.

  • Ensure utilities (water, electricity) are operational.

We are not responsible for damage to items not removed from work areas.

6. Stain Removal Disclaimer

While we use professional-grade equipment and products:

  • We do not guarantee complete removal of all stains.

  • Some stains (including pet urine, dye transfer, permanent inks, bleach damage, or pre-existing discoloration) may be permanent.

  • Results depend on fabric type, age of stain, and previous treatments.

7. Pre-Existing Conditions

We are not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage

  • Loose seams, weakened fibers, or deteriorated backing

  • Shrinkage due to improper prior installation

  • Color loss caused by previous cleaning attempts

  • Wear and tear or material defects

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Alberta law:

  • Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service provided.

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

  • Any claims must be reported within 48 hours of service completion.

9. Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are not satisfied, you must notify us within 48 hours of service completion. We will return to re-clean the affected area at no additional charge.

Refunds are issued at our discretion and only after an opportunity to re-service the area.

10. Health and Safety

We reserve the right to refuse or stop services if:

  • The environment is unsafe.

  • There is hazardous material present.

  • Aggressive pets are not secured.

  • There is abusive or inappropriate behavior.

11. Drying Times

Drying times vary depending on ventilation, humidity, and carpet type. We are not responsible for extended drying times due to environmental conditions.

Clients should avoid walking on damp carpet until fully dry.

12. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and applicable Canadian federal laws.

Any disputes shall be resolved within Alberta courts.

13. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. Amendments

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most current version will be posted on our website.
